Dos Santos International, the world leader in high-angle conveyor technology, is proud to announce the installation of its highest vertical lift to date Sandwich Belt conveyor at AA Quarry. This groundbreaking system is currently being installed and is scheduled to be fully operational by the end of the year.
The new conveyor will elevate 600 tons per hour of limestone nearly 810 ft (247 meters) vertically, setting a new benchmark for Sandwich Belt vertical lifts. AA Quarry chose DSI after carefully evaluating conventional trucking and low-angle conveyor alternatives, recognizing the Sandwich Belt as the most reliable, efficient, and cost-effective solution.

DSI Sandwich Belt high-angle conveyors come in a variety of configurations, delivering unmatched performance and reliability. Each conveyor features two standard, smooth-surfaced belts positioned face-to-face, gently hugging the material being transported. This design enables extremely steep inclines while maintaining an environmentally responsible operation.
DSI Sandwich Belt conveyors achieve higher speeds and greater capacities than traditional high-angle conveying methods. With wider belt options and compatible hardware, capacities exceeding 10,000 t/h are easily attainable. Conveying at angles up to 90° and lifts of 300 meters are easily accomplished.
Built entirely with conventional conveyor components, DSI Sandwich Belt systems ensure exceptional availability, minimal maintenance, and easy interchangeability of parts, backed by rapid delivery of replacements when needed.
