Joe Dos Santos is the founder and President of Dos Santos International. Joe has a B.S. and Masters of Civil Engineering from Cornell University and continued post graduated study in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. He is a registered professional engineer and holds licenses in several states.
Joe has worked in the field of bulk materials for over 40 years. He has published several major study reports on high angle conveyors and has written numerous technical articles on modern continuous haulage systems and equipment. He is the inventor of 3 US and foreign patents covering the HAC® High Angle Conveyor. He is the inventor of the DSI Sandwich belt high angle conveyor system.

Marc has a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering with Information Technology from M.I.T.. He joined DSI as a partner on May 1, 2004. Marc was an important part of DSI at its founding in 1997, organizing much of the company’s computer and communications systems. Since 2004, he has played a major role in the development and optimization of many company processes and analysis tools.
On November 14, 2017, Marc was awarded a patent on his invention, the DSI Adder Snake which complements the DSI Sandwich belt high angle conveyor at docks, storage facilities and long overland conveyor systems.
Marc serves as Vice President and COO of Dos Santos International.
Amy is a 2004 graduate of the University of Alabama where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations. After graduation, Amy worked at a Birmingham, Ala. radio station as a creative writer and promotions coordinator. Fluent in Portuguese and proficient in Spanish, Amy is a seasoned journalist with publish announcements world wide.
Amy serves as Marketing Manager supporting the representation of DSI worldwide and fulfilling all advertising and promotional duties.
Peter is a licensed professional engineer and graduate of Auburn University where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. While at Auburn, Peter taught an undergraduate hydraulics lab course and assisted in research efforts toward determining the effects of a new ALDOT project on a local watershed near Birmingham, AL, USA.
In 2024, Peter celebrated his 10th anniversary of dedicated work to Dos Santos International.
Peter serves as Chief Engineer for Dos Santos International.
Tom is a licensed professional engineer, with bachelors and masters degree in mechanical engineering. Over 30 years experience; including bulk material handling, unit handling, and manufacturing. Experience includes systems design, import/export terminal design, product research and development, continuous improvement, project management and engineering management. Specialties include design of high angle sandwich belt systems, long overland conveyor systems, booster drives, large capacity belt feeders, regenerative conveying systems, vibratory feeders, and idlers. Contributed to several CEMA standards and has served on various CEMA committees over the last 25 years.
Tom serves as Vice President of Engineering for Dos Santos International.
Imran is a 2021 graduate of Kennesaw State University, Southern Polytechnic College of Engineering and Engineering Technology. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with his Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering and was frequently on the Dean’s List and President’s List.
Imran served as structural design project leader designing steel structures, led a team in an engineering hydrology study report and was the proposal team member for a transportation solution project. He was a member of the Steel Bridge Competition Team and participated in volunteer work around the community.
Imran successfully passed the FE exam in April 2021 and will serve Dos Santos International as a Structural Engineer.
Jack is a 1972 graduate of the United States Coast Guard Academy where he obtained a B.S. of Science degree. Jack joins Dos Santos International with 40 years experience in engineering and maintenance.
Although retired since 2009, Jack will serve routinely as a consultant and field advisor for DSI.
